Bowie is in need of a new home! Bowie is a 13-year-old Terrier/American Eskimo mix who was a main companion for his person, who died very recently. He does best in a home without other dogs or children, which is why the family feels he will be happier in a new home. He has lived well with a cat. He is not a big guy, weighing in at 16 pounds.
Bowie is deaf and we believe he may need surgery to remove a growth on an eyelid that bothers him. He was first rescued at age 5 and is sensitive to being touched at the rear of his body, so we will want to get him in to our vets as soon as possible to find out more. We cover all expenses for fosters.
